Jessica Marie (White) Lantier was born October 5th, 1958 in DeRidder, LA to Lillian Fischer and Jess Willard White. She went home to be with our heavenly father on February 4, 2017. She passed away at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria in the arms of her loving husband, Paul, while he sang “I’ll fly away” and surrounded by family.
Jessica was an amazing person that everyone loved to be around. The first thing you noticed about her was her beautiful eyes and electric smile. She was a little lady with a gigitanic personality. She made you feel welcome whenever you were around but she was honestly opinionated. She was not afraid to state her mind and made sure you knew exactly how she felt. Jessica spent her early adulthood having an amazing experience moving to exotic places and living a life most could only dream about. She decided to come home to Leesville, LA to start a family that she loved with all her heart. During her recent years, she spent her time with her husband Paul, spending time with her children and grandchildren, taking care of her numerous plants, and her chickens. She worked at the Vernon Parish Library where she left an impact that will last a life time to her dear friends.
Jessica is survived by her parents Lillian and Jim Fischer. Loving husband Paul Lantier. Children: Justin (Jessica) Thompson, Clay Thompson, Ben (Kaylon) Lantier, Elizabeth (fiancé Garrett Brack) Lantier, and Brianna Lantier. Grandchildren: Melanie, Matthew, and Hunter Thompson and Claire Lantier. Siblings: Gary White, Jerry “Bugs” White, Ronald “Ronnie” White, Donald “Donnie” (Cindi) White, Betty (Tony) Jorge’, and Mark White. Numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Jess Willard White and granddaughter Hayden Sumney-Thompson
