Jesse Duane Daniel's Obituary
Funeral services for Jesse Duane Daniel, 61, of New Llano, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. C.W. Dowden officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 21st from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday, May 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the chapel.
Jesse, the son of Jesse Lee and Mary Drue Yates Daniel was born February 6, 1953, in Atlanta, TX. He passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at his residence in New Llano.
Jesse enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He was an industrial painter for many years and a former police officer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Lee Daniel; mother, Mary Drue Daniel; sister, Brenda Horton and granddaughter, Halie Funderburk.
He is survived by his wife Lacy Daniel of New Llano; brother, Randy Daniel & wife Ann of Jefferson, TX; sister, Elaine Mabry & husband Jerry of Texarkana; children, Adrian Daniel of Leesville, Chris Daniel & wife, Michelle of Dequincy, Kevin Daniel of Dequincy, Adam Daniel & wife, Christine of Lake Charles and Kara Daniel of New Llano; grandchildren, Kelsie Daniel, Keyale Daniel, Kennedy Daniel, KaiLee Daniel, Lorraine Daniel, Shelby Daniel and Ian Daniel; great grandchild, Ryder Conner and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
