Jerry Pete Geeo, 61, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, April 15, 2011, at his residence in DeRidder.
Funeral service will be held for Mr. Geeo on Monday, April 18, 2011, 2:00 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Minister officiating will be Rev. Jay Alexander. Burial will be in Owensville, Arkansas.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, April 17, 2011, 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, at the funeral home and resuming on Monday, 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 2:00PM.
Jerry was born on October 16, 1949, to Pearl Blaylock Geeo and Roy Geeo in Dallas, TX. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Viet Nam War. He was an automobile mechanic at Harmon’s Automotive in DeRidder. He will be remembered as a wonderful father, paw paw and loving friend. Jerry grew up in Hot Springs, AR and lived the last twenty four years in DeRidder, LA
Survivors include three sons, Christopher Michael Geeo and wife Heather of Hot Springs, AR, William Tony Moore, Jr of DeRidder, LA and Timothy Pete Geeo and wife Kerrie of Rosepine, LA; four daughters, Rachel Geeo Foye and husband William of DeRidder, LA, Teri Lee Gilmore of Butterfield, AR, Shari Dawn Long and Melissa Buckles both of Hot Springs, AR; two brothers, Jimmie Geeo of Hot Springs, AR and Richard Geeo of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Nancy Cecilia Deary of Hot Springs, AR; mother, Pearl Nash of Hot Springs, AR and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Roy L. Geeo.
