Jerry W. Calcote's Obituary
Funeral services for Jerry W. Calcote, 46, of Newton, TX, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 23, 2016, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, LA, with Rev. Alfred Kennedy and Rev. A. F. Ott officiating. Burial will follow in Sugartown Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2015, from 6PM until 9PM and on Saturday, January 23rd, from 12 noon until time of service at the funeral home.
Jerry the son of William Harold and Louise Estell Calcote was born on April 9, 1969, in DeRidder, Louisiana. He passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, in Burkeville, TX.
Jerry lived most of his life in Sugartown, LA. He was a graduate of East Beauregard High School. He was a retired foreman with Tanner Construction and member of Sugartown Baptist Church. He loved fishing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elizie & Estell Welch and Pete & Norma Calcote.
He is survived by companion, Tabitha “Tab” Sanders Kelley of Bon Wier, TX; daughters, Josie Calcote of Simpson and Torie Calcote of Simpson; two step-children, Hannah Sanders and Blake Kelley; parents, William H. & Louise Calcote of Sugartown; sister, Bylinda Rieves of Kilgore, TX and nieces, Brittni and Brooke Rieves.
