Jerry Belsha's Obituary
Funeral services for Jerry Belsha, 68, of Anacoco will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Cold Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, Louisiana with the Rev. Ken Dickerson officiating. The burial will follow in the Cold Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 p.m. until time of funeral on Thursday at the church.
Jerry passed away Tuesday, February 10th in his residence in Anacoco.
Jerry was a lifelong resident of Anacoco. He retired from Powell Lumber Company after 27 years of service. He also worked several years for the Vernon Parish Police Jury.
Jerry had a deep love for his family, his horses and his Cur Dogs. He was a loyal friend and generous neighbor.
He will forever be remembered for his story telling of past adventures with family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Elaine “Dolly” Belsha; son Kanalous & Angela Belsha; daughters, Connie & Ron Cornelius and Laura & Jeremy McRae; mother Lou Reid Belsha; brother Lane & Lorena Belsha; sister Faerie & Dean Jackson all of Anacoco; grandchildren Wacey, Keisha, Kayla, Ashtyn, Derrin, Kally, Dylan, Cole, Tyler, Julie, & Jace; great grandchildren Hannah, Kalleigh, & Kaden and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
