Funeral services for Jerome Edward “Jerry” Ward, 64, of Slagle, Louisiana will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19th, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Hemphill Star Cemetery, Read Obituary

I am truly sorry for your loss of a loved one. I worked with Jerry for many years, enjoyed his friendship and his company. I will also miss his presence although we did not visit much after retirement. I often thought of Becky and Jerry. Prayers for all the family. He will be remembered as a good friend.

Jerry was a cherished classmate at Bolton and co-worker at Brown-Roberts as well as neighbor to my grandparents on Mary Lane. We pray that our Father will comfort you with the Blessed Assurance of life eternal.
