Funeral services for Jeffery D. Milstead, 54, of DeRidder, LA will be held at 11:00 A M, Monday, November 21, 2016, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder with Rev. Rod Martin officiating. The burial will follow in the Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek, LA,
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016, from 3:00 pm until 8:30 pm and then 9 am until service time Monday, November 21st in the funeral home.
Jeffery D. was born February 10, 1962 in DeRidder, LA. He was the son of Boyd and JoAnn Cooley Hightower. He passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016, in Bella Vista, Arkansas.
J.D. worked as a Q C Analyst at Ingevity for 32 years. J.D. was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an outgoing person who would help anybody and he loved telling stories. He was a member and president of the Sportsman Bass Club, and avid hunter and outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years; Connie Milstead, daughters, Ashley and husband Jason Dove and Kellie Milstead; sisters, Christine McGowan and Tonya Willison; mother, JoAnn Cooley Hightower all of DeRidder and grandchildren; Joseph, Braxton, Julian, Makayla, Bentley and Mason
