Funeral services for Jeanette Jeane White, 66, of Anacoco will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2009 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Dean Sebourn, Ricky Kay, and Andy Addison officiating. The burial will follow in the Burr Ferry, Cemetery in Burr Ferry, Louisiana. Friends may visit Thursday April 16th from 4 p.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Jeanette passed away, Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. She was born in Leesville, LA, she lived most of her life in Vernon Parish. She was a beautician by trade, but spent most of her life as a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn & Lola Jeane and brothers Clyde Jeane & Jack Jeane.
Mrs. White is survived by her husband of 50 years and 7 months James V. White of Anacoco, LA sons Jimmy and wife Kandie White of Keokuk IA, Michael and wife Amanda White of Burr Ferry, LA; daughter Cynthia White and companion Johnny Parks of Leesville, LA; brothers Malcom Jeane of Burr Ferry, LA, Milford Jeane of Burr Ferry, Jerald Jeane of Leesville, LA and Lee “Bull” Jeane of Burry Ferry; sisters Lilian McKee of Pickering, LA, Marie Kay of Leesville, LA, Norma Cryer of Merryville, LA, Faye West of Leesville, LA and Margie Pace of Waxahachie, TX and seven grandchildren who are the light of her life; Jarred White of Baton Rouge, LA, Whitney and husband Corey Wagaman of Cedar Rapids, IA, Megan White of Arlington, TN, Krystal White, Rachel White, Levi Jeane and Teegan White all of Burr Ferry, LA.
