Jay Nell Alston Brack, 78, of Singer passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Jay Nell was born on September 29, 1946 in Singer to Mishell “Mitch” and Jessie Lovell Pruitt Alston.
Graveside service will be Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Newlin Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Clark and Rev. Donnis Ashworth officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the cemetery. Funeral services are under the care and direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
Survivors include her daughter, Denita Pierce of Singer; grandson, Jason McMullen of Singer; great-grandchildren, Mishell Johnson, Zachary Slayter, and Adriana McMullen; two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger Wayne Rodisch; son, Quintian Sherman Rodisch; granddaughter, Felicia Slayter; brothers, Bennie Wayne Alston and Shirley Lyn Alston; sister, Eva Dell Baldwin.
