Janice Harper Manning's Obituary
Funeral services for Janice Harper Manning, 79, of DeRidder, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Gill and Rev. Henry Hebert officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery. Service are entrusted to the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 1:00 P.M until time of service at the church.
Janice was born on May 28, 1943 in DeRidder, LA. to her parents, Kennie Reid & Myrtis Mae Wyatt Harper. She passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
Mrs. Manning loved to fish and hunt squirrels. She enjoyed working in her yard. She loved all animals especially Sheep! She worked for Westwood Manor for 20 years starting in the kitchen; then she moved to be the Activity Coordinator.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kennie & Myrtis Harper; husband, James Sterling Manning and brothers, Kenneth Harper and Kelly Harper.
She is survived by a host of cousins and many special friends.
