James "Jim" Williams' Obituary
James “Jim” Williams, 77, of Leesville, was the son of Joseph and Catherine Hext Williams, was born July 29, 1937 in Leesville, LA and passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 in Alexandria.
Left to cherish his memory is his son Glenn Williams of Simpson, step-sons; Franklin D. Juliano of Leesville and Joe Juliano of Florida; grandchildren, Austin Williams, Dustin Williams, Tristin Williams, Anistin Williams, Sean Juliano and Shannon Juliano; sister, O. J. Sumer of Orange, MA.
Jim worked as a long haul Truck Driver for many years. In 1991 he was awarded “The Highway Hero of the Year Award” from Goodyear Tire for saving the life of a person trap in a burning vehicle. He also served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents
Jim’s family will be having private funeral services at a later date and his family asked that memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army.
