James “J.W.” William Sanders
Funeral services for James “ J..W.” Sanders will be held on Friday, Sept 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow with Military Honors in the Castor Cemetery of Leesville.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept 22, 2011 at 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Sanders, 79 passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at his residence. He was a native of Ark but grew up in South Carolina. He served in the United States Army for 20 yrs and had lived in the Leesville area for over 32 yrs. He was a Viet Nam Veteran, Member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veteran Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
His survivors are his wife of 31 yrs Linda Duke Sanders of Leesville,
Daughters; Debra Christenson of Leesville, Gail Humphries and husband Sean of Leesville. Two Grandchildren. Daniel and Jacob Christenson.
