Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.
I met Mr. Jim many years ago when his daughter Gwen was doing my hair. In recent years I saw him at Wal-Mart when he came in and he always came through my line as a cashier. He did the number thing with me and I still have it! He was so well loved.Thank you for your friend ship Mr Jim RIP
I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Myrick, he was a fascinating man with so many stories. One thing I will never figure out is the number square he showed me. Great man will be missed by many. My condolences to the family.
I remember Mr. Myrick from either my time at the sheriff's office or at KLLA/KJAE. Forgive me, it's been almost thirty years I just do not recall exactly where. But i do remember seeing him on a regular basis and he was always a fine gentleman. I would never have known about his service in Korea or Vietnam or his many excellent citations because he himself never spoke of any of it in his interactions with me. I guess that is one other way we know someone was a true hero. Others who know them well may speak of their suffering during service, and their heroic deeds, but those who actually did and survive seldom if ever do.God Bless you and your family at this sad time.Dwayne E. I worked as an FRSA for the 162D IN BDE until 2013. My Commander gave me the pleasant assignment of keeping in contact with Mr Myrick and inviting him to events/ceremonies. My Myrick's love of County and Family was inspiring. My deepest sympathy to his Family.
I love you dad!
