Funeral services for James Markus Murray, Sr., 77 of Anacoco will be Friday, January 2nd at 2:00 PM at Cold Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, Louisiana with Rev. Ken Dickerson officiating. The burial will follow in the Cold Springs Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana. Friends may call Thursday, January 1st from 3:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday at the church.
Mr. Murray passed away Wednesday, December 31st at Byrd Memorial Hospital in Leesville, Louisiana. He loved hunting & fishing. Mr. Murray loved truck driving and he did so until he retired.
He is survived by his wife of forty seven years Mavis Murray of Anacoco, Louisiana; sons Johnny Ball, Larry Ball, Kenneth Murray, Gerald Murray, James Markus Murray, Jr. and Jody Murray; daughters Linda Raley, Pam Morris, Kathy Kemp and Pam Whittaker; twenty six grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren.
