James Earl McManus' Obituary
Funeral services for James Earl McManus 79, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at Sandy Hill Baptist Church in Leesville with Bro. Amos Ezell and Bro. Billy Ray Johnson officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Pine Island Cemetery in Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be Monday, August 2, 2010, beginning at 1:00 P.M. and continuing until time of service at the church.
Mr. McManus, the son of Homer and Ola Smith McManus, was born November 9, 1930, in Winnsboro, LA. He passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at his residence in Leesville. He served 20 years in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. McManus is survived by his wife, Eileen McManus of Leesville, La, two sons, Richard McManus of Rosepine, LA, and James Neal McManus of Cranston, Rhode Island, four daughters, Brenda Montiel, Sandra Davis, Carmen Holder, and Sharon Sellers, all of Pickering, LA, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles McManus.
