James Harlis Johnson's Obituary
Funeral services for James Harlis Johnson, 51, of Hutton, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Mora with Rev. Walters officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Mora, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011, from 11 am – until time of service Thursday at the church.
James, the son of Elbert Harlis and Florence Hillman Johnson was born on June 5, 1960, in Leesville, Louisiana. He passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at his residence in Hutton, LA. James was a life resident of the Leesville & Simpson area. He was a graduate of Reagan High School of Houston. He worked as a mechanic and plumber. James loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Florence Johnson; brother, Jerry Lee Johnson; sister, Mary Ann Johnson, all of Hutton, LA; 4 nephews & nieces, Shannon Lee Johnson & Courtney, Crystal Gayle Johnson, Rolaind Johnson & Casondra Ann Johnson; 2 great nieces, Sara Marie Johnson and Cheyenne Chevelle Johnson.
