I grew up at Lone Star, and when I think of Lone Star I think of Jimmy Shirley. Why? Because he has ALWAYS been there. He rang the bell when Sunday school was over. He was a deacon for as long as I can remember. He was dedicated, a leader and a mentor. So when you think of Lone Star Baptist Church you have to think of Jimmy Shirley. He is irreplaceable and will be greatly missed. My condolences to Faye Shirley, Susan, Sheila and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.
