James Jean's Obituary
Funeral services for James H. Jean, 80, of Breaux Bridges be held at 1:00 pm., Tuesday, April 5th at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Danny Herbert and Rev. W.T. Shelton, the burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery in Pickering. Friends may visit Monday, April 4th, from 2pm until 8pm, then Tuesday, April 5th, 8 am until service time in the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Mr. Jean the son of James and Dessie Cooper Jean was born December 10, 1930 in Jasper, TX and passed away April 2nd at the Lafayette General Hospital n Lafayette, LA.
James retired as a store manager in the retail industry, he was an avid LSU Sports Fan and he was simply enthusiastic about life itself.
James was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother in laws Donald and Ima Manning, and his son Donnie Joe Jean
He is survived by his wife, of 56 years, Betty Jean of Breaux Bridges; two daughters Diane Killian of Lake Charles and Nita Juneau of Breaux Bridge; seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
