James Jackson Jr.'s Obituary
Funeral services for James Jackson Jr., of Houston, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 24, 2020, in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Simpson, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 24th from 1:00 P.M. until time in the funeral home.
We are gathered here today to pay respects to our departed son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to all.
James Edward Jackson Jr. was born July 03 1985 - departed July 15 2020. Jr was a very loving and intelligent soul. A philosopher in life as his mother would often say.
Jr. was very talented and a natural in many adventures in life. He was an avid fisherman, surfer, musician, he loved playing drums and the guitar. Most of all he loved.
He was a very concerned nephew, there was one occasion when his Uncle Robert and Aunt Debbie got married he called 911 during the reception.
Jr. joined the US Navy after graduating High School and served 5 years in Florida. He later transition to the civilian sector as a DOD contractor. He later then came home to help his father with the family business. He was a top performer when it comes to Engineering.
