James Burnett Doolan, Jr.'s Obituary
James Burnett Doolan, Jr., 61, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in his residence near Singer, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Friday, March 12, 2010, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder with Rev. Sammy Gore and Rev, Pete Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Newlin Cemetery in Singer under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Mr. Doolan was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, but lived most of his life in the Singer area. He was a welder at Dow Chemical in Freeport, TX. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy where he was a munitions specialist on the USS Forrestal. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoy the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Toni R. Doolan of DeRidder, LA; son, James B. Doolan, III and wife Kathrina of DeRidder; daughter, Tracy Ann Doolan of Westlake, LA; brother, Jack Piirianen and wife Liz of Spark, NV; sister, Carolyn Rhodes of Missouri; mother, Mollie Brownlee of Lake Charles, LA; eight grandchildren, Khirsten LeighAnn Doolan, Lottie ReighAnn Mouton, Brennen Lee Joseph Theriot, Chaz Dakota Doolan, Colton Bailey Doolan, Cody Lane Goodman, Calab Michael Goodman, and Casey Goodman; he was preceded in death by his father, James Burnett Doolan, Sr.
