Isaac Wayne Dailey's Obituary
Funeral services for Isaac Wayne Dailey, 71, of DeRidder, LA, will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012, 2:00 PM at Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church, DeRidder, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Phillips and Rev. Shelton Walter. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Cottonwood, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at the church and resume at 10:00 AM Thursday, prior to the service.
Isaac was born on April 22, 1941, to Paul Wesley Dailey and Delcie Stevinson Dailey inVernon Parish, LA where he lived most of his life. He was formerly employed at the State School in Leesville and at Kisatchie National Forest. Isaac served in the United States Army and he is a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church and a former member of Lilly United Pentecostal Church. Isaac was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening. He passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012, Pineville, LA.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Gill Dailey of DeRidder, LA; son, Alan Wayne Dailey of Nevada; daughter, Teresa Dailey of Boulder City, NV; brother, Ronald Paul Dailey of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Pauletta Robinson of Mauriceville, TX and Sharon LeBoeuf of Crosby, TX and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Donnie and Wesley Dailey.
