Irene Bernadine Peterson's Obituary
Irene Bernadine Peterson, 79, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at her residence in DeRidder.
She was a native of Lancaster, WI, and had lived in Southwest Louisiana for over fifty years. She was a retired school cafeteria manager for the Calcasieu Parish School Board, working in Westwood Elementary in Westlake, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Hanson Aaron Peterson; one son, Michael Peterson of Sandy, UT; three daughters, Karen Zepeda and husband William of Houston, TX, Debbie Patton of West Bountiful, UT, and Linda Peterson of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Bernard Hartnett of Lancaster, WI; sisters, Ivanelle Tanner, and Aloha "Sweetie" Winkers, both of Lancaster, WI; nine grandchildren and one great grandchile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Ellis Hartnett and great grandson, Caleb.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2008 at 10:00AM in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder with President Robert F. Crowe and Bishop Gary Pontiff officiating. Burial will follow in Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA. Visitation will be from 5-9PM Thursday, April 17, 2008 and from 9AM until service time Friday, April 18, 2008 in the funeral home.
