Irene Bolton's Obituary
Funeral services for Irene (Bass) Bolton, 84, of Slagle will be Saturday, March 26th at 10 am at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Terry Ward officiating and Anthony Jeane speaking, with the burial to follow at the Antioch Cemetery in Slagle. Friends may visit Friday, March 25th, from 4pm until 9 pm then Saturday, March 26th, from 8 am until service time in the funeral home.
Irene was born in Simpson, Louisiana the daughter of David and Rosa Bass. She passed away Wednesday, March 23rd in Alexandria.
Irene was a homemaker, a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Slagle and she loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years W. T. Bolton, her grandson, Justin Lynn Roberts, four brothers and one sister.
Irene is survived by her two daughters; Sharon Roberts of Slagle, LA and Rena and Jeff Barker of Sulphur, LA; two grandchildren, Pamela Roberts and Jennifer Barker O’Pry; two great grandchildren Brooke Roberts and Trevor Roberts and numerous nephews and nieces.
