Ineta B. Davis' Obituary
Funeral services for Ineta B. Davis, 75, of Simpson, LA will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Simpson Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Blocker officiating. Burial will follow in the Welcome Cemetery in Simpson. Visitation will begin Monday, April 19th at 3:00 P.M. at the Simpson Baptist Church and will continue until services there Tuesday, April 20th. The service is under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Ineta was the daughter of Dewitt and Bell Blackwell Bennett she was born July 18, 1934 in Temple, LA and passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her residence in Simpson.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Simpson Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Esther Chapter # 26 in Leesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Devane B. Davis and her son Gary D. Davis
She is survived by her daughters, Nelda Delores Davis (husband, Lee) Hubbard of Simpson and Carleen Davis (husband, Harvey) Barbee of Kingsbury, TX: 6 grandchildren, Carla Allain (husband, John) of Simpson, Gary Davis, Jr., (wife, Lauren) of Leesville, Deana Brandon (husband, Chris) of DeRidder, Aaron Barbee (wife, Amanda) of Simpson, Charles Barbee of Burkeville, TX, & Harvey Barbee III of Kingsbury, TX and 7 great grandchildren, Seth Allain, Ean Allain, & Ashlyn Allain all of Simpson, Lindsy Brandon of DeRidder, Grace Barbee of Sequin, TX, Rayne Barbee of Hicks, and Annaleigh Barbee of Simpson.
