Funeral services for Hugh “Pete” Parker, 70, of Anacoco will be Monday, December 31, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. He will be cremated following services. Friends may call from 10 AM until service time, Monday Dec 31st, in the funeral home.
Mr. Parker was born in DeRidder, LA and was a lifelong residence of the Beauregard and Vernon Parish Area. He was a US Marine Veteran and owned and operated Parker Construction. Pete loved to raise race horses and was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all.

He is survived by his wife; Frances Dowden Parker of Anacoco; sons, Charles “Buster’ Parker of Anacoco, Richard Parker of Rosepine, Greg and Stacy Parker of Anacoco, Trinidy & Toni Smith of Bastrop, TX and Austin Tanner Parker of Anacoco; daughters, Dollie Parker of DeRidder, Patricia & Terrell Robertson of Iola, TX, Karen Parker of New Orleans, Paula & Warren McIvey of College Station, TX, Chanda Hester of Anacoco and Misty Padron of Houston, TX; Brothers, Buddy Adams and Mickey Adams both of DeRidder; Sisters, Betty Prater of DeRidder, Bobbie Ditlinger of Kansas City, KS and Diane Nolen of Houston, TX; 23 grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.
