Hilmar Max Lehnert's Obituary
Hilmar Max Lehnert, 89, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016, at his residence. Private services will be held at a later date in Germany.
Hilmar was born March 22, 1927, in Coburg, Germany. He became a U. S. citizen after moving to the United States in the early 60’s. He was a veteran of WWII and was self-employed as a tool and die machinist in Redwood City, CA for over 30 years. He is survived by one son, Mark H. Lehnert of Jamestown, CA; daughter Cornelia Reiter (Spencer) of DeRidder; three grandchildren, Cooper Lehnert, Taegan Reiter and Ethan Reiter. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Brigette Lehnert.
