I don't have a favorite memory of Bro. Erwin. I have so many wonderful memories of him and his family, I would not be able to put it all here. He was the very best Youth Leader we could have had. He didn't try to just entertain us, but he led us and taught us to speak before the church, and to take scriptures that he would assign us and we had to dig and come up with a short talk about them. I know it helped me a lot and I am sure it did others. I have been at his home visiting and would be outside -- I could hear him praying from inside the house. He was a praying man, a man of God. He led many people to Jesus and salvation. He was very exceptional. I am thankful for him being able to say hello to eternity with God. The Scriptures tell that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
