Henry "H.A." Hank Wilson's Obituary
Mr. Wilson was born on September 2, 1932, in Evans, Louisiana, the son of John A. and Evie Hinson Wilson. He passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, in DeRidder, La.
Mr. Wilson served his country in the United States Army for several years. After leaving his military service he became a Louisiana State Trooper. After retirement from the state police he began a career for many years with the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office. He was also a pipefitter for a time. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was Master of Leesville Lodge No. 240 F&AM in 1973 and 1974 but his passion in life was being a Rancher.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Doreen Carlock Wilson; son, Henry A. “Bodie” Wilson Jr.
Henry is survived by his son, Horace “Hoss” Wilson and wife Brenda; his daughter, Brenda K. Dowden and husband Jerrell; his daughter, Jean Puscher; his daughter-in-law, Laura Wilson; Six Grandchildren: Jason Wilson, Jennifer Carter, Jessica Wilson, Sonja Schneider, Selena Medlin, Ben Nelson, Jerrell Dowden, Jr., Crystal Rocker, Landon Dowden; 21 Great Grandchildren.
