Henry R. Green of Dry Creek, Louisiana, entered into rest on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the age of 53 years, 6 months and 24 days, at Christus Saint Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Henry was born on Monday, April 29, 1968 in Many, Louisiana to Terry Green and Linda Wester Green.
Visitation will begin Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 12:00 Noon until Memorial Service begins at 1:00 PM, at Church of God in Faith, 4251 Hwy 1146, Rosepine, LA, 70659, with Wilson Stillwell, officiating. Please join us following the service for a fellowship dinner. Cremation has been entrusted to Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana
Henry was a wonderful husband, provider, and my soulmate. He was a hard worker as a diesel mechanic until he retired. He and his wife loved camping with his family and church camp. He treasured spending time with his grandkids. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years Mary Green; children Shirlea Guthrie (David) of DeQuincy, LA, Philip Johns (Breanna) of DeRidder, LA, Elizabeth Talley of Dalton, GA, Kody Green of Dry Creek, LA; mother Linda Tobias of Point, TX; brother Russell Green of Denton, TX; sisters Teri and Karl Herrmann of Richardson, TX, Lola and Mike Baham of Point, TX, Nita and Heath Forrester of Palestine, TX; grandchildren Kaden Guthrie, Eagan Henderson, Shaylyn, Collen Johns, Wesley Johns, Uriah Johns, Jonathan Johns, Annabelle Johns, Andrew Johns, Douglas Dugger, MaKaila Talley, and Áreanna Warden; and nephews Kenneth and Kayla Herrmann of Richardson, TX, Gordon Herrmann, OK, Michael Herrmann of Plane, TX.
Preceded in death by his father Terry Green.
