Helga Becker Green's Obituary
Helga Becker Green, 87, of Leesville, passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2025, surrounded by loving and supportive members of her family. Born on August 12, 1938 in Seligenstadt, Germany,
Helga was a devoted mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered by all who knew her for possessing unwavering courage and strength, a genuine love of playing board games, and her traditional German cooking.
Helga dedicated her life and poured her energy into her family. You could find her either shopping for the latest gadget, strolling the lines at the commissary in order to fill the pantry, or covering the kitchen counter with an abundance of cookies and chocolates. Her home overflowed with anything and everything that any member of her family might need.
Helga’s greatest accomplishment and source of joy was her family.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lowell Green, Sr., and two of her children, Rose Aderman and Linda Brtek.
She leaves behind her children, Patsy (Mike) Green, Ellen Green, Lowell (Kristen) Green and Donnie (Stacie) DeMary; her grandchildren, Randy (Sarah) Aderman, Robert (Kellie) Aderman, Melissa (Kyle) White, Ryan (Michaela) Aderman, Dennis (Amy) Babcock, Michael (Heather) Green, Tony Green, Tiffany Smith, Sylvia Walters, Jennifer Anderson, Brittany Brtek, Miranda (Jarrod) Forsman, Patty (Alex) Tse, and MaryBeth (Clarke) Smith. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, as well as her pride-and-joy, her great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 beginning at 12:00 PM with services following at 2:00 PM, both at Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Her final resting place will be Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
The family is sincerely grateful for your support during this difficult time and welcomes flowers.
