Helen "Lovene" McElveen Welch's Obituary
Funeral services for Helen “Lovene” McElveen Welch, 93, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco Rev. Sherman Busby, Rev. Bill Russell, Rev. Milton Rawles and Bro. Sheb officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 7th from 5 pm until time of service in the church.
Helen, the daughter of Coke P. and Edie McElveen was born May 27, 1920, in Anacoco. She passed away Friday, December 6, 2013, in Leesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Welch; daughter Norma Combs and step grandson, Brit Chance.
She survived by sister, Melba & Earl Smith of Anacoco;
granddaughter, Leah Fenne of Leesville and step-granddaughter, Rene’ & Jerry Neal of Marshall, TX and three grandchildren.
