Hazel Marie Brandon's Obituary
Hazel Marie Brandon, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, in Leesville, Louisiana.
Born on January 27, 1934, in Church Point, Louisiana, to Alphan and Rita Boudreaux, Hazel lived a life marked by kindness, love, and devotion to her family. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially woodworking, sewing, and crafting. Her warm smile, quick wit, patience, and compassionate spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew.
Hazel was a devoted mother and is survived by her four children: Donald Brandon (Linda), Janet Beauxis (John), David Brandon (Cindy), and Carol Hodges (David). She is also survived by her sisters, Norma Ball and Jayne Robinson.
She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her grandchildren: Jeff, Brian, Waylon, Branch, Brandy, Elizabeth, Nicki, Justin, Michelle, and Erin.
Her memory will also be treasured by her great-grandchildren: Jenna, Abby, Vivian, Wade, Payton, Preston, Blake, Madison, Keaton, Allison, Ryland, McKenzie, Skyler, Leyla, Christian, and Riley.
Hazel was also blessed with great-great-grandchildren: Brooks, Bodie, Easton, Amelia, Skyler, and Lillian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alphan and Rita Boudreaux; her beloved husband, Carl Brandon; her granddaughter, Angie Brandon; her great-grandson, Lane Wells; and her siblings, Louise Boudreaux-Vidrine, Lawrence Boudreaux, Alvin J. Boudreaux, Calvin J. Boudreaux, Ferdie Boudreaux, and Vivian St. Cyr.
Hazel’s greatest joy was her family. She loved gathering with those she loved, sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories that will be cherished for generations. Her legacy of strength, kindness, faith, and unconditional love will continue to live on through all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service celebrating Hazel’s extraordinary life will be held at a later date.
