Funeral services for Harold R. Knippers, 81, of Hornbeck will be held Saturday, June 9 2018, at Grace Assembly in Hornbeck, LA. Burial will follow in the Knippers Hill Family Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2018 from 4 P.M until time of service at the church.
Harold was born on May 8, 1937, in Many, Louisiana. He passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Haywood and Jennie Mitchell Knippers, brothers; Charles Knippers and Edward Dewayne Knippers.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Martha Howard Knippers of Hornbeck, LA., daughters; Rita (Larry) Hollis and Tammie Kay Knippers both of Hornbeck, LA., brother; Bobbie Knippers of Hornbeck, LA., sister; Margurite Ruthford of Hornbeck, LA., grandchildren; Lindsey (Devin) DesJardins, Lacy (Kade) Parker, Noel (JJ) Gregory, Torri Hollis, great-grandchildren; Kandon, Ava, Rylan, Maci, Easton, Harper, Reid, Grace and his Fur Babies Booty and BoBo
