Glenda Jeane's Obituary
Funeral services for Glenda Jeane, 66, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2nd at the Cold Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, with Rev. Dale Miller will officiating and the burial will follow in the Cold Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1st from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, April 2nd from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Glenda, the daughter of Johnnie and Mable Strickland was born June 15, 1947, in Leesville, LA. She passed away Friday, March 28th, in Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Jeane, father, Johnnie J. Strickland, brother, Rodney Strickland, nephew, John Matthew Strickland and honorary brother, Haskel Lavaughn Roshong.
She is survived by her children; James Daryl and wife Sandy Jeane of Shreveport, Daphne and husband Jim Nafe of Anacoco, Dawn and life partner Al Garrett of Anacoco, Mother, Mable Strickland of Anacoco; honorary sisters, Melvia Roshong and Charlotte Strickland Brock; four grandchildren, Caleb Jeane, Gracie Jeane, John Hall and Brittany Jeane Kelly; great grandchildren, James Kelly and Aleigha Kelly.
