Glen Alvie Brown's Obituary
Funeral services for Glen Alvie Brown, 78, of Hornbeck, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday November 19, 2022, at Hornbeck United Pentecostal Church in Hornbeck with Rev. Steven Lora & Terry Brown officiating burial will follow at Prewitts Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck.
Visitation will be Friday November 18, from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Church.
Glen was born on April 13, 1944, in Hornbeck, to his parents, Curtis H. & Zinnia Clark Brown. He passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at his home in Hornbeck.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Jimmy and Bobby Brown.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years: Janice Brown of Hornbeck, LA; two sons: Terry Brown and wife Christina of Owhyee, NV., and Bug Brown and wife Misty of Hornbeck, LA.; brother : Jack Brown of Bakersfield, CA.; sister: Myrtle Grey of Hornbeck, LA.; six grandchildren: Kristin Brown Lunsford (Rexana) of Lindale, TX., Connor Brown of Fairbanks, AK., Cody Brown of Owhyee, NV., Whitney Springstun Brown (Zack Morehead) of Violet Hill, AR., Tiffany Brown of Hornbeck, LA., and Stephanie Brown of Hornbeck, LA., Lexie Brown of Fort Benning, GA., two great grandchildren: Jaclynn and Savannah Morehead; double first cousin: Billie Brooks, and special cousins: Patsy Kavanaugh, Arlie Hale, and Martha Knippers.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Cecil Corley, Jimmy Dale West, Bug Brown, Reece McNeely, Chris Brunley, Artie Lyons, Connor Brown, and Cody Brown.
Honorary pallbearers are Kristin Brown, Tiffany Brown, Miles McNeely, Fred Funk, Bob Spillers and all the men of the Hornbeck United Pentecostal Church.
