Funeral services for Geraldine Bush will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Dr. Glen Cooley and A.L. Hunter officiating. The burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana.
Geraldine Bush, 88, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Christus Schumpert Health Care System in Shreveport, La, after a lengthy illness.
Geraldine was born April 21, 1921, to Haywood and Mary McElveen. She lived in Anacoco, La and was a member of Freedom Rest Baptist Church until she moved to Shreveport, La in July 2000.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Bush, three brothers and three sisters.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Debra Bush of Shreveport, La; two sisters Eunice Kay and Jackie Jackson of Anacoco, La; sister-in-law Marie McElveen; brothers-in-law Clovis Clough and Clinton Kay and many nieces, nephews and friends.
