Georgie G. Givens was born on March 24, 1942 in Many, Louisiana to her parents Purvis and Dollie Brooks Gassaway. She passed away on January 24, 2025 in Leesville, Louisiana.
She is survived by her sister Annie Greenwood of Leesville; 1 grandson, Steven Hickman and 2 great grandchildren, Stephanny Hickman and Steven Hickman, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
