Georgia Lea West's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Lea West, 82, of Hornbeck will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 12:00n at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hornbeck. Rev. John Northway, and Rev. Wayne Chance will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 15th until service time Tuesday in the Church.
Mrs. West was born on April 13, 1936 in Sabine Parish. She passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena, LA.
Preceding her in death are her parents: Luther & Mary Mitchell Knippers; One Son: Ricky West; Two Brothers: Jimmy Knippers and JC Knippers; and Two Sisters: Velma Oxlay and Marie Sparks
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years: Jimmie Lee West of Hornbeck; Two Sons: Jimmie Dale (Tommie) West, and Bennie Gale West both of Hornbeck; Two Daughters: Gienell (Kenny) Doyle, and Barbara Despino both of Hornbeck; One Brother: JR Knippers of Many, LA; Fourteen Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren
