Funeral services for Georgia Faye Lexie, 68, of Leesville will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Les Comeaux and Benny Backlund officiating. The burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday, November 17th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Georgia the daughter of Georgie & Nancy Langston Scarbre passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Riverside Hospital of Louisiana in Alexandria, LA. She worked as a secretary for the Civil Service at Fort Polk.
She is survived by husband of 32 years Frank Lexie of Leesville, LA; sons Bill Lawson of Joshua, TX, James D. Lawson of Little Rock, AR, and Stephen True of Modesto, CA; daughter Beverly Jeanette Brown of Moses Lake, WA; sister Bertha Bushnell of , CA, and 14 grandchildren.
