George Christopher White's Obituary
George Christopher White, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on January 20, 2025, in Pitkin, Louisiana. Born on April 21, 1964, in Beaumont, Texas to Herman Christopher and Evelyn Y. Willis White, George lived a life marked by kindness and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
George was known for his strong work ethic and deep-rooted values. He was an avid weight lifter, enjoyed playing pool and reading.
A man of faith who was always faithful to his church. He loved Elvis Presley. George brought joy wherever he went and had a beautiful voice. He had an innate ability to connect with people through conversation.
Family meant everything to George. He is survived by his loving brother Gregory White and wife Connie of Fullerton, LA; sister Beverly Miller and husband Larry of Pitkin; along with cherished nieces and nephews: Jamie Martin, Rusty Wilson, Heather Halvorson, Jason White, Sam White, Grace Rainger and Eric Theriot. Each one held a special place in George's heart.
Preceding him in death were both parents Herman Christopher White and Evelyn Y. Willis White; brother Rodney Theriot; niece Cheyenne McMahon.
In addition to being devoted to family ties that bound them together through laughter-filled gatherings or quiet moments spent helping elders within their community—George exemplified what it meant to be truly patriotic: standing up for what is right while extending compassion towards others without hesitation.
Funeral services honoring the remarkable life of Mr. George Christopher White will take place on Saturday February 1st at Gravel Hill Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M., officiated by Bro. Chad Estes alongside Bro Arlen Smith. Visitation will begin at the church from 9:00 A.M., allowing friends & family alike time together before saying goodbye.
