Memorial services for George Edmond “PawPaw” Bormet, 62, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at the Oak Forest Baptist Church in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be in the church from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. this evening.
George, the son of William and Shirley Vovey Bormet, was born December 1, 1952, in Norfolk, MA. He passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015, in Leesville, LA.
He was an United State Vietnam Veteran.. He was a former heavy equipment operator for APECK. He loved to ride motorcycles and rode with many local motorcycle groups.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Charles Bormet.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bormet of Leesville; daughter, Carolyn Campbell; stepchildren, Liana Principe, Vincent Principe, Gary Oaks & Jeffery Grendell, mother, Shirley Touzin; siblings, Dorothy Bormet, Virginia Waithaka, Theodore Bormet and William Bormet and grandchild, Destiny Campbell.
