Such sweet memories of Aunt Marie who passed away, April 1st, three years ago. My mother, Doris Maxine White Strohm, who passed away, April 1st, 14 years ago, found in Marie a supporter and intimate friend "who was closer than a sister" crossing life's many miles and so many years.
I'm so sorry to hear my sweet friend is gone. I didn't know about it or I would have attended her service. My heartfelt sympathy to all her family. She was an awesome friend. We met working at Fort Polk and our age difference never mattered. I will miss our phone and in-person visits.
Mrs. Marie was an absolutely beautiful soul. She was the absolute best neighbor and friend anyone could possibly hope for and she will be deeply missed. My family was beyond blessed to have been able to know and love her.Prayers for her loved ones as they navigate life without her.
