Graveside services for Gale Wilma “Fred” Phillips, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in the Hicks Cemetery with Rev. Greg Mortensen officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the Hicks United Pentecostal Church.
Gale was born January 13, 1950 in New Orleans, LA and passed away on March 6, 2021 in Alexandria, La. She was married on October 7, 1989 to Hugh (Butch) Phillips Jr.
Her family was her life.
She was preceded in death by her mom Jeanette Wilma Miller.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 31 years Hugh (Butch) Phillips Jr., of Hicks, Three Daughters: Angela & Keith Peters of Beech Creek, PA., Cheryl & Mike Hunsicker of Gatesville, TX., and Lea Hurst of Pearl, MS.; One Son: Steven Phillips of Leesville, LA; 11 Grandchildren: Whitney Peters of Boone, IA, Madison Peters of Beech Creek, PA, Kim & Joel Hall of Cash, OK, Kenneth Hunsicker of Austin, TX, Stormi & Ryan Hegefeld of Troy, TX, Chase Cole of Sherman, TX, Christian Hurst of Pearl, MS, Ariel Hurst of Pearl, MS, Noah Hurst of Pearl, MS, Daniel Phillips of Columbia, MD, Dakota Phillips of Leesville; 8 Great Grandchildren; Two Sisters: Esther Carruth of LaCamp, LA, and Joanna & Raymond Robinson of LaCamp, LA; Numerous Nieces and Nephews
