Gail Andrews Jackson's Obituary
Gail Andrews Jackson was born on November 26, 1934 in Arkansas. She passed away on February 2, 2026 in Leesville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Jackson was a wonderful mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She worked in the cafeteria in many of the Vernon Parish Schools. She was a wonderful cook. Most of all she was a wonderful Christian Lady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lillie Duncan Andrews; husband, Alta Ray Jackson; brothers, Johnny Andrews, Charles Andrews, Henry Andrews, Sam Andrews, and Chesley Andrews; sisters, Maude Deggs, Pauline Sharp, Annie Nelson and Betty McCoy.
She is survived by her son, Wesley Jackson (Sherry); daughter, Susie Patterson (Mike); grandchildren, Tammy Mushinski (James), Melissa Jernigan, Brad Patterson(Sarah), Krista Henry (Delane); great grandchildren, Annalisa Bailey, Izabella Henry, Treyton Harper, Jackson Patterson, and Adalyn Jernigan.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco with Bro. Keith Dowden and Bro. Tinker Hillman officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. until time of the service at the church.
