Graveside services for Fred “Timmy” Brant, 49, of Pineville, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011, at the Leesville Cemetery in Leesville with Jerry L. Jeane officiating.
Timmy, the son of Philip and Mary Edna Mount Brant was born on December 1, 1961, in Montgomery, Alabama. He passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011, at Huey P. Long in Pineville, LA. Timmy was a native of Alabama but grew up in the Leesville area. He was a 1979 graduate of Leesville High School. He worked as a carpenter and loved to hunt and fish. He had worked for Dousay Custom Homes of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Brant, Sr.
He is survived by wife Connie Brant of Pineville, LA; sons, Joshua Smith and Phillip Brant both of Pineville,LA; daughter, Jessica Marie Cooley & husband Adam of Houston, TX; mother, Mary “Judy” Brant of Leesville, LA; brother, Philip Brant, Jr., of Pineville, LA; sisters, Susie Haymon of Baton Rouge, LA & Vickey Brant of Leesville, LA and grandchild, Owen Cooley.
