Franklin Sewell's Obituary
Graveside funeral services for Franklin L. Sewell, 72, of Bentley, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2012, at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana. There will be a visitation at Labby Memorial Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. prior to the graveside service. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Mr. Sewell, the son of Rudolph and Jewel Sewell, was born September 24, 1940, in Ashdown Arkansas. He passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at the Veterans’ Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana.
Mr. Sewell, a Vietnam veteran, retired as a SFC from the U.S. Army. Following his military retirement he worked as a long distance truck driver.
Mr. Sewell is survived by two sons, Frank Sewell of Anacoco and David Sewell of Leesville; three daughters, Cynthia Sewell of Bentley, AR, Pam Sewell of Leesville, and Becky Sewell of Anacoco; three brothers; Joe Sewell of Ashdown, AR, Scott Sewell of Idabel, OK, and Kenneth Sewell of Shreveport; two sisters, Barbara Sewell of Ogden, AR and Janet Allen of Ashdown, AR and six grandchildren.
