Frank Muse's Obituary
Funeral services for Frank Muse, 92, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. D.R. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Friday, December 19th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 20th from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Frank, the son of James Monroe and Louis Francis Ford Muse, was born on December 31, 1921, in Leesville, LA. He passed away on December 18, 2014, in Leesville, LA.
Frank worked for the newspapers for twenty nine years. He retired in 1976 and moved from Houston to Leesville. While in Houston he owned and operated the first ever Baskin Robin Ice Cream in Texas. He then drove a school bus for Vernon Parish School System and also owned the “Y” Grocery Store for ten years in Leesville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anacoco.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, James Monroe Muse.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Audra Muse of Leesville, LA; son, Ronnie Muse & wife, Ellen of Sugarland, TX; one granddaughter, Jonnie Muse of Katy, TX; four grandsons, Ronnie Muse, Jr., of Schertz, TX, Austin Muse of Houston, TX, David Muse of Anacoco & Ryan Muse of Anacoco; three great granddaughters, Melanie Lelsz of Katy, TX, Morgan Lelsz of Katy, TX & Dominic Muse of Anacoco; one step-granddaughter, Brenda West & husband, Donnie of Leesville; three step-great-granddaughters, Haley West, Holley West & Halayna West; two step-grandsons, Haden West & Heath West; one great great step-granddaughter, Ella Sabrot and two daughter-in-laws, Dianne Muse of Anacoco, LA and Roma Abbott of Houston, TX.
