Frank David Chance's Obituary
A celebration of life service for Frank David Chance, 74, of Hornbeck, LA, will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Wayne Chance officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
David was born on Wednesday, September 25, 1946 in Mattoon, IL. He passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Sabine Medical Center in Many, LA.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley (Dub) and John Ellis Chance; and his brother Scot Chance.
David was a graduate of Lamar State University in Beaumont and retired from Delta Airlines. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Littleton Fowler Masonic Lodge #305, Beaumont Commandery #38 Knights Templar in Beaumont, TX, and the Toledo Cruiser’s Car Club.
On September 20, 2014 David married the love of his life, Sharon, and lived his life to the fullest.
David is survived by his wife: Sharon of Hornbeck; daughter: Kim Dickinson and husband John of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Hailey and John Wesley Dickinson; stepsons: Tracy Ryan and Donald Browning, step daughters Denise Scrimshire, Kerra Scrimshire, Chasity Browning, Destyne Browning, and Emyaleeann Browning, and mother-in-law Billie Chambers Bass.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Justin Chance, Mike Behan, Richard Bruce, Tim Faircloth, Mike Guillory, Matt Guillory, Ken Cade, John Dickinson, Destyne Browning, and Logan Hughes.
