Frances Joann Addison Weldon's Obituary
Frances Joann Addison Weldon was born on July 5, 1948 in Leesville, to her parents Lavelle Addison and Johnnie Strickland. She passed away on May 30, 2025 in Anacoco.
Frances had a love of music and flower gardening. She also loved cooking and big family gatherings. She had an extremely deep love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had many friends and was loved by them all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, LaDon Addison and her husband of 38 years Jimmie Weldon.
She is survived by her daughters, Monette Slaughter and Charles Dowden and Valarie Bell and husband Wade Bell; grandchildren, Joshua Slaughter, Brady Bell, Kendra Isgitt and Landon Bell; great grandchildren, Hunter Rivers, Davey Rivers, Tristan Cook, Jaxton Slaughter, Weston Slaughter, Kyla Isgitt and Creedence Isgitt; brother Allen Addison and sister Ima Josey.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 3:30 P.M. at Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
