Floyd Haskell Collins' Obituary
My dear husband, Floyd H. Collins, left my side for his eternal reward on July 20, 2025, as a result of complications from a stroke. Reaching the age of 62 years.
He married me, Shelly Ann Short, on October 29, 1994, at Guthrie, Oklahoma, and we shared the joys and sorrows of life for almost 31 years.
Floyd gave his heart to the Lord and was baptized into The Church of God in Christ Mennonite on September 4, 2005, at Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Floyd worked as an electrical repair specialist at Tinker Air Force Base for over 25 years.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Shelly Collins; his children, Chuck and wife Kylee Collins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Katie and husband Doyle Unruh of DeRidder, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Emilee and Claire Collins, and Garet and Maci Unruh; and his siblings, sisters Dixie and husband Mike Markum, Virginia Gilmore, Mary Jo and husband Errol Unruh, and one brother, Carl Dee Collins.
